Beautiful Poem and craft day

So Thursday is craft day. I spend the day helping ladies of a more mature age to craft cards and journals and clay play and all kinds of things. We have a wonderful lady who brings tea and biscuits and we have a good old natter. The group i set up is free and the supplies are from my own and donated. We make lots of things and the money is sent to charities and churches. Its a blessing every Thursday.

Found this beautiful poem on Google and it really spoke to me. I just want to say thank you to the talented poet, for creating this beautiful vision for me today.

Have a happy Thursday all.

  4. What a wonderful thing you are doing for this group. AND you are donating your own supplies, which in turn go to charity. You are doubly blessed, dear. Good for you.

  7. Great work you´re doing, people like you are needed.
I just saw a documentary the other day where elderlies in a home were treated like little children, "forced" to sing and clap hands.
    I thought, I´d rather die.
You could see some (at least) were more alert still.
Saw another docu just tonight (20 minute-pieces) how Chinese people learn a bit German to come here and help out as no one here does.
Why? They are paid like real bad. Just minutes to take care of a person in need, it´s horrible and frightening.
    Glad you do this!
