Steampunk and Tea

Gosh its storming like crazy outside so thought I would come and post my finished journal page.

Steampunk journal page created using wet teabag staining on the base and on a half doily. I Stamped the beautiful image from the set at Altered Pages steampunk woman set. I got this beautiful set from my good friend in the USA Susan Guzy. I am totally in love with this set. I stamped with Stazon onto tissue and used Glue stick to secure. The other stamped patterns are from home made tissue tape I made ages ago and torn into pieces. Then I added some washitape edges and colour with pens here and there. The cog gears are die cuts and have been painted gold with highlights from pens.

Thanks again to Susan and to the lovely team over at Altered Pages

I would also like to enter this in the Art Journal Journey challenge this week which is Elegance and grunge

Thanks so much for joining in at AJJ.
Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog June - it's nice to meet you - and I am now also following you :)
Sounds like your storm (are you in UK?) worse than ours - I'm on the Essex coast and our rain and thunder didn't last too long and soon went back to being hot and humid - phew!
    Have a lovely Sunday .... Gill x
